Breakfast run with Whichurch Whippets
We've been invited by Whichurch Whippets to join them for a break(notso)fast run on Sunday 5th of September meeting at the Raven Cafe just outside Whitchurch where the A41 and A49 split. Meeting time would be 10:00 a.m. We would then go for a run of around 6 miles (shorter run also available) before having breakfast at the Raven (eating optional). By the time we get back the cafe may even be open for lunch - they have a good carvery. It's a popular event with whippets. (Whichurch ones anyway)

Tony's Bigger BBQ
It's the last one!! Sunday 29th August 2pm till 7.30
There'll be a 1 mile race at 4.30 I'd like volunteers to help marshall the race, give out medals record times places, registration etc. Paul Ward's race director.
I also have a few volunteering jobs going with the other events such as taking money and curating the bouncy castles etc.
please let me know if you'd like to help.
All helpers will get a free ticket!! Who said it was voluntary (well below minimum wage though)

I haven't been to the club for a couple of weeks due to being diagnosed with an underactive thyroid which meant I was tired all the time. Now on medication and feeling much better so should soon be up and running (!!).
